Chicify Halloween this year with these style tips! Halloween is just a week away and I have outlined your go to guide for all things glam and wicked. From decor to costumes all your bases will be covered.
Take it up a notch this year and add more then just the standard pumpkin, or spider web decor. From wreaths to paper lanterns check out these mod ideas from HGTV!
Whichever one you choose be sure to pick a pumpkin with a nice shape to fit your design and make sure there are no blemishes, bumps, or worm holes. If carving cut from the bottom and seal with petroleum jelly and lightly spray the inside with bleach. Also be sure to refridgerate when its not on display to preserve the life of your pumpkin. If you just want to paint you can always jazz it up and add glitter, stickers, and anything else you or your kids may want to add. For more carving tips checkout Pumpkin Masters site and for painting tips check out Michael’s.
If your worried about overloading you can always keep the treats simple by incorporating Halloween faves like candy corn, carmelized apples, or pumpkin seeds into general recipes. If your willing to venture off to the dark side take a look at some of the Food Network’s recipe’s and the Cooking Channel’s ghoulish cocktails!
Belles lets ditch the typical cat and cop costumes this year for a more posh look. Checkout these Peacock, Flapper, Masked Beauty, and Pink Lady ensembles. They provide a touch of class while still showing a bit of skin. Have a frightful night Belles!
